Dear Friends,

Today’s readings show us different ways of seeing Christ as King so that we can grasp something of the reality of Jesus without using the language of political power. The exchange between Jesus and Pilate speaks in terms of bearing witness to the truth, not in terms of worldly power. The one on whom is conferred ‘sovereignty, glory and kingship’ receives them through his Passion and death.

All parishioners who have contact with children or vulnerable adults need to have a DBS disclosure. Most already have one but may need to have it renewed - it lasts for 3 years only. If this is the case you will be contacted by one of the parish’s safeguarding officers: Fran Ludden(Aylsham), Gerry Mildinhall (N.Walsham) or Hilary Bolger (Hoveton).
