Newsletter 02.06.19.

Dear Friends,

Today’s Gospel is from the prayer of Jesus at the Last Supper. He prays for all who will follow him as disciples - this includes us. He is fully united to the Father and he prays that this unity will be seen among believers: a unity that is rooted in love.

Next Sunday we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. You are invited to come to church wearing something red as a symbol of the tongues of fire that revealed the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

I have now had a cataract operation in both eyes and all is well. I hope to able to drive again from Wednesday of this week. Meanwhile my thanks to all who provided transport over the last three weeks.

God bless,

Father James
