During their recent visit to Cambodia representing local independent charity ‘Support Cambodia’, parishioners Carol Shippey and Bob & Katie Maidment spent several nights in our twin parish of St. Francis Xavier, Svay Sisophon. They were welcomed and entertained wonderfully by the students of De Nobili Centre, caught up with old friends Om Chheng, Om Monica and Teacher Saory and presented parish priest Father Greg Priyadi with a chalice on behalf of Sacred Heart Parish. This was very well received and used for the first time at Sunday Mass the following day. Father Greg and the community send warm greetings, love and prayers to Father James and everyone in Sacred Heart Parish. During the visit they were also able to see the latest developments at the new Jesuit School site [including checking on the East Anglia tree planted in 2015], help plant plant fruit trees at Deylo Farm where ‘Mary’s Well’ [donated by a North Walsham parishioner in 2013] is still going strong and see some encouraging improvement at Rha Village on the old railway line.
