Father Greg, new Parish Priest at Svay Sisophon, has been looking ahead with new plans for the church centre. These will include the building of a new staff/volunteer office to provide privacy for for those who wish to speak in private to the parish priest. The plan is to build this in the open space under the church and will be mostly financed througha single donation to Support Cambodia by two members of Sacred Heart Parish. Other plans include a Computer Room and new Study Rooms, thus enabling the present study rooms to revert to much-needed dormitory accomodation, especiallyfor girls.
150 coconut and dragon fruit trees will be planted on the church’s farm as part of the drive to make the student hostel self-sufficient. Sacred Heart Parish will be helping to fund this through the Diocese and Support Cambodia.
