Dear Friends,
Today we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. Fifty days after Easter the Holy Spirit is given in dramatic ways to the apostles. As we celebrate this feast we don’t just look back at past events: we ask that we too may receive that same Spirit in our lives.
What a splendid day we had for the Tea Party! The sun shone, the Pimms flowed, we were inundated with scones and cakes and people came in good numbers. A special thank you to all who prepared and served the food and drink: you did a splendid job!
The Bishops of England and Wales have written a letter to us. They offer some useful pointers to the priorities and values that we look for in any future government. Copies are available for all this weekend.

A plea for help! N Walsham still desperately needs people to clean the church, even if just a one-off offer. It is not a difficult task, only an hour is required. Please, ring Antonia on 01692 406452 if you feel you could help in any way. Thank you.
Support Cambodia would like to thank all who contributed in any way to raising £1,000 for Sister Franny’s Education Programme (Feeding) at the charity’s Plant Sale last weekend. That the target was achieved in one day is an astonishing achievement and the result of the combined efforts of so many people. On behalf of Sister Franny and her team, thank you all very much for ’Supporting Cambodia’.
