Dear Friends,
Today we depart from the cycle of Sunday readings to celebrate the feast of the Transfiguration. The revelation of Jesus’ glory is accompanied by divine words: ‘This is my beloved Son….listen to him’. His words and actions tell us about God’s forgiveness, compassion and unfailing love for us.
The re-decorating of the Sacred Heart church is going well and already the church is looking splendid. Sunday Mass is celebrated in the parish hall probably for another two Sundays. The weekday Mass at Hoveton (Wednesday) and Aylsham (Friday) continues as usual. Saturday Confessions are in the presbytery from 12 to 12.30 and by appointment.
