Dear Friends,
Today’s readings are about faith (2nd reading) and faith-filled perseverance (Gospel). We who live by faith are encouraged to ‘stick with it’ remaining ‘faith-full’ in a country where religious belief is often ignored or even dismissed as irrelevant or outmoded! We look to the Church (including Pope Francis), our parish community and each other for mutual support in our faith.
Father James
Minutes of the PPC Meeting of 28th June are now on the website and on church notice boards.
Safeguarding in the Parish. It is vitally important that every parish has up-to-date information regarding those who, through their work in the parish, have contact with children or vulnerable adults. This applies particularly to ministers of the Eucharist and those involved in children’s liturgy or sacramental preparation. New volunteers will need a DBS check and existing checks will need to be updated. Charlotte Collison is the parish safeguarding rep and she can arrange for these checks to be done. You can contact her by email at: safeguardingnorthwalsham@gmail.com
