Dear Friends,
Today Isaiah presents a wonderful vision of peace and harmony between people and nature. It includes one who will come from the house of David. This will be fulfilled in the coming of the anointed one –
the promised Christ. This is what John the Baptist announces in the Gospel . However it comes with a stark message: repent! The overall message is one of hope, the promise one of salvation, but entry into the kingdom will not be automatic – it will be for those who choose it and whose lives reflect that choice.
The Journey in Faith course continues today at 5 pm in the presbytery.
