Dear Parishioners,
Let us extend a warm welcome to Bishop Alan who has come for my induction Mass today, 9th, at 11.00am in the Sacred Heart Parish.
It is always possible to be thankful for what is given rather than to complain about what is not given. One or the other becomes a habit of life.
The central theme of this weekend’s readings is gratitude – in particular, the expression of gratitude God expects from us. The Gospel story of “the forgetful lepers” presents a God who desires gratitude from us for the many blessings we receive from Him, and who feels pain at our ingratitude.
