Dear Friends,
Today’s Gospel is an account of the temptation of Jesus. He is offered power and success but on the devil’s terms. We have a chance to begin Lent reflecting on sin and temptation, seeing Lent as a desert time when we deal with them in our personal lives.
More copies of our Lent book ‘The Shattering of Loneliness’ will be available costing a modest £5.
God bless
Father James

CAFOD’s Family Fast Day next Friday is an opportunity to support our brothers & sisters around the world. Drought, floods and storms are having a devasting impact on families in Bangladesh who make their living from fishing: the drought last year killed all the fish. With our help CAFOD can provide rice seeds that grow in salty water, ducks that are hardy to local diseases, build ponds for families to breed fish. On Friday, eat a simple meal in solidarity and give what you save to help people in Bangladesh.
