TODAY we welcome to our Mass members of the Missionary Vehicle Assoc. – SURVIVE-MIVA: they will be making an appeal in support of this Catholic lay Assoc & Registered Charity – based in Liverpool. They are involved in processing applications for transport grants, originating from Central & South America, Africa and Asia. Please support their work. Special Gift aid envelopes are available.

PARISH PICNIC is next Sunday 17th August in the grounds of the Sacred Heart, North Walsham following the morning Mass at 12.15pm and ends at 3.00pm. Bring your own picnic, rug etc plus, if possible, some food for sharing for the Food from “Around the World” Table. Please see separate insert for details.
OUR ANNUAL MASS IN THE GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE (North Walsham) takes place on Thursday 21st August at 6.00pm. Everyone is welcome but especially those who have their loved one’s ashes buried there. If it is wet, Mass will be held in the church. We will need help that evening with setting up and putting back of the chairs. If you can help please have a word with Antonia or ring the presbytery. SPONSORED BIKE RIDE & WALK (Norfolk Churches Trust) will be on Saturday 13th September from 9am – 5pm. JIM BYRNE will again be taking part in the cycle ride. He is looking for sponsors and will be outside the church this weekend. Let’s support this intrepid member of our parish! Sponsorship forms for cyclists, AND WALKERS are available from the three churches. Lists for volunteer “recorders” signing in the cyclists/walkers on the day will be available at Aylsham & North Walsham shortly: please support by signing up for an hour.

“TERESA 500” Events organised by the Carmelite Forum of Britain & Ireland throughout 2014 – 2015 are celebrating 500 years since the birth of St Teresa of Avila and exploring the ongoing significance of her life and teachings.
