Dear Friends,
Today we celebrate the great mystery that is God himself. The doctrine of the Trinity is a way of saying that God is best defined as Love itself and relationship is at the heart of God’s being.
We have made a successful application to the Alive in Faith campaign for a grant to each of our three communities. As funds continue to build up we will be able to make further applications next year.

The Mass today at the Sacred Heart is a Family Mass with the children taking major roles in the liturgy.
Next Sunday, The Most Holy Body & blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) is Day for Life: there will be a retiring collection for the work of the “Life Charities”.
Also that Sunday there will be Benediction at 3.00pm at the Sacred Heart Church. This will be a ‘combined’ celebration of the two feast days, Corpus Christi and The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Do come along and help make it a splendid occasion.

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held in St John the Baptist Cathedral at 7.00pm on Friday 16th June; in thanksgiving for the generous response of people in the Diocese to the Alive in Faith fundraising. The final results of this will be known by the end of this month. The Mass is followed by a reception in the Narthex.
A big ’thank you’ to the parishioners in North Walsham who responded to our request for people to offer an hour of their time to help clean the church. We now have a sufficient number to form a rota.
