The Senior Citizens Group (NW) – meets on Monday 13th May. This week, after the usual morning activities, the group will be painting Norfolk Rocks with Sally Smith.
There will be no meeting of the Hoveton 4th Wednesday Club in May. The next meeting will be on 26th June.
The inaugural meeting of the Sacred Heart Forum will be held today in the parish hall, after the 11.00am Mass. This is open for anyone to attend. If you have a matter you would like to raise, please approach one of the PPC representatives – Becky Walker, Antonia Martínez, Grazyna Skawinska, John Bolger or Cathy Watkins.
Don’t forget the Parish AGM, which will be held on Monday 20th May in the Sacred Heart Parish hall at 7pm.
North Walsham’s ‘Big Bash’ will be on 18th May at the Library & Community Centre from 1.30 to 4.30 and is for all who wish to become more involved in their community.

This Sunday is World Day of Prayer for Vocations and there will be a retiring collection for the Diocesan Priests’ Training Fund.

On Wednesday 29th June there will be a CAFOD coach taking people from our Diocese to join a Mass Lobby of Parliament and Climate Pilgrimage. (More details at cafod.org.uk/climatelobby) Pl continue to sign petition forms to the Prime Minister for the UK to reach zero emissions by 2045.
Thanks go to all who were involved in organising the 60th Anniversary celebration at St Helen’s, Hoveton, which was a joyful occasion and very well attended. Congratulations go to Francis Harmer and Nick Walmsley who were presented with Diocesan Medals & Certificates for their dedication to the Church over many years.
The theme and subject of this year’s Newman Lectures 2019 is “Mary”. Held at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist the first lecture is on Thursday 23rd May, at 6.30pm given by Fr John Hemer, entitled “Mary in Sacred Scripture”. Pl see poster/flier for future lectures.
