Today we hear stories of how the power of repentance can unlock God’s forgiveness.
There will be many celebrations of the Queen’s birthday this weekend. In all Catholic churches there will be a special prayer for the Queen.
The Bishops of England and Wales have written a letter regarding the forthcoming referendum which you may find helpful. Copies are in the porch of all three churches.

Next Sunday is Day for Life and there will be a retiring collection for Life charities.
Laudato si. There are going to be five sessions of discussions and reflection on the Pope’s letter on global issues that affect us all. These will take place in the Parish Hall, on Sundays from 5 – 6 pm starting on 19th June. It is for the whole parish, a different speaker will lead each session and all are welcome. Leaflets are available at the back of the church.
The Senior Citizens’ Group (NW) meets on Monday 13th June in the hall at North Walsham. The day begins at 11.00am with computer workshop or chair exercises, coffee and a chat Prayers and lunch at 12:30pm are followed by the weekly raffle. In the afternoon Adrian Rudman will be giving a talk to the group about the Foodbank.
On Monday 27th June the Senior Citizens have their Walsingham Pilgrimage. Parishioners and friends are warmly invited to join this annual event. £5 each goes towards the cost of the coach hire. To book or enquiries ring Teresa on 01692 405007 or 07901 830327.

There will be an Organ Recital on 26th June in the Sacred Heart Church at 6.15pm – for the dedication and blessing of the new instrument: the last event to raise funds for World Youth Day.
Diocesan Summer Camp 2016 takes place on Friday 26th to Monday 29th August for ages 8-14. Staying at New Eccles Hall School, Norfolk. Those interested in going should contact Kerry or Lauren Thorpe on 07504048352.
