Dear Friends,
Today’s Gospel gives us St Luke’s account of the appearance of the Risen Lord. To his disciples. He eats with them to show that he is not a ghost but has been restored to life. He is present in a way that is different and yet the same. His resurrection casts light on the scriptures in a way that clarifies the past and announces the future so that the Good News can be proclaimed to all nations.
God bless
Father James
