Ecumenical Study Course – Hoveton on Thursday 20th (7-8.30pm). This week at St John’s C of E church —Source of Joy: “Prayer as Listening”.
STATION MASS – will be celebrated by Bishop Alan Hopes at St Joseph’s Church Sheringham on Thursday 27th March at 7.30pm. It is important that we support this first official deanery visit of our bishop. Confessions from 6.30pm.
SENIOR CITIZENS’ GROUP meets Monday 17th: am Computer Workshop; pm Neil Storey will give a presentation on “Norfolk in the First World War”. All parishioners are warmly invited to come along.
ST HELEN’S Liturgy of the Word & Holy Communion Mon 17th March at 7pm.
BENEDICTION on Sunday 23rd March: some devotions will be sung in Latin.
ST HELEN’S 4TH WEDNESDAY CLUB for senior citizens meets on 26th March. Coffee from 11.30am, hot lunch at 12.30pm followed by readings, poems and passages of a spiritual nature, ending with tea & cake 4.00pm. All over 60s welcome.
WOMEN’S DAY OF PRAYER – a very big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the gathering last Friday; to those who prepared the hall, provided refreshments of lovely cakes, pizzas etc: to Kate whose floral decorations graced the church and tables in the hall, to those who took part and to our organist, Doreen.

EVENTS AT WALSINGHAM On Saturday 22nd March, in preparation for the Solemnity of the Annunciation on Tuesday 25th, there is at the shrine “The Annunciation through Art, Music, Readings and Prayer” 2.30-4.30pm.
Also: weekend of 29th & 30th March a “Grand Second-hand Book Sale”; 10.00– 4.00 each day. (Any books may be left in the Slipper Chapel Shop or Staff Room) by Tuesday 25th.
‘THE EMERGENT CHRIST’ – a 2 day course on understanding the science and theology behind the wonder of Creation, given by Sr Professor Iliaq Delio OSF on 6th & 7th June at St Luke’s Church, 61 Aylsham Rd, Norwich.
