Dear Parishioners,
The long wait is over. On 12th October at 11.00 am Bishop Alan announced that Pope Francis has accepted his resignation and elected a new Bishop, Peter Collins, to the Diocese of East Anglia. As the new Bishop elect, Peter Collins prepares for his Episcopal Ordination on the 14th December in St John’s Cathedral, let us continue to pray for our new bishop elect.
I would like to express my gratitude to all those who assisted in various ways to make my induction celebration a memorable one.
“A winner never quit and a quitter never win”.
Never give up. Rely on the power of persistent prayer.
Fr Peter
