Dear Friends
We all love stories. Jesus used stories or parables to explain profound truths. His audience was made up chiefly of simple country people who were familiar with work on the land. Today’s parables illustrate how God presence in the world is alive and dynamic.
The annual Parish General Meeting (meal with AGM) was to have taken place on Monday. However quite a lot of our parishioners will be away this coming week and not many people have signed up for it. This is an important event in the life of our parish. It brings all three communities together for an enjoyable meal and an update on parish policies and finance. It will now take place on Sunday, 7th October after the 11 am Mass. Come for your Sunday lunch!
Today there is a Civic Service at 3 pm in the parish church in North Walsham. I shall be there to represent the Catholic community: any other parishioners are of course welcome to attend.
