People sometimes say, ’he looks just like his father’. That is what Jesus is telling us in today’s Gospel. ‘You must be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect’. We probably think that perfection is beyond us. But we can still strive to reflect something of God’s holiness.

Today, Sunday at 6pm there is an Ecumenical Service at the Methodist Church, White Hart Street, Aylsham.
The Senior Citizens’ Group (NW) meets on Monday 20th. In the morning there will be the usual activities – Computer Workshop, craft, and/or chair exercises plus coffee and a chat. Lunch is at 12.30pm. In the afternoon at 1.45pm Teresa will be talking about ’recycling textiles’ as part of the Live Simply Campaign. New members always welcome; please ring Teresa on 01692 405007 or 07901 830327.
St Helen’s 4th Wednesday Club for senior citizens next meets on 22nd February. Coffee is served at 11.30am, a simple hot lunch at 12.00pm followed by a free raffle, social activities and games. We finish with tea & cake at 4pm. New members are always welcome to join our group for all or part of the day. Special CAFOD Mass, & Day of Recollection at the Cathedral, Saturday 25th February at 12noon, celebrated by Bishop Alan as part of the 40th Anniversary of the Diocese of East Anglia. With the gardening season fast approaching, a reminder that the Support Cambodia Plant Sale is only 3 months away on May 20th. Your help in growing extra plants/potting up your cuttings would be much appreciated. Bedding plants, perennials, herbs and shrubs are all needed to make this annual event its usual success.
