Dear Friends,
There is a sense of urgency in today’s first reading as Paul and Barnabus move from place to place encouraging the newly-founded Christian communities. In contrast, the second reading presents a timeless vision of the new Jerusalem descending from God and completing the final act of creation. In the Gospel Jesus speaks of the mutual love that will be the currency of every one of his followers.
God bless,
Father James
