Dear Friends,
Today’s Gospel is about the need to pray continually. St John Henry Newman once wrote, ‘Prayer is to the spiritual life what the beating of the pulse and the drawing of the breathy are to the life of the body’. These words reflect his firm conviction that Christ dwells in the heart of every Christian, calling each of us to holiness.
The Journey in Faith course will begin on Sunday, 3rd November at 5 pm in the presbytery. It is for those who wish to explore the teaching of the Catholic Church as well as anyone who would like to have a ‘refresher’ course.
