“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
The readings for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B highlight the nature of true discipleship and Jesus’ mission. They remind us of the importance of serving others and trusting in God’s plan. They also explain the servant leadership of Jesus and teach us that self-sacrifice, loving, humble service is the criterion of greatness in Christ’s Kingdom.
