Dear Friends,
Today we hear the story of the Prodigal Son. It could also be called the story of the indulgent father. Yet this is how Jesus shows us what God is like – a far cry from the angry and vengeful God that we are sometimes tempted to imagine.
This weekend we will be supporting CAFOD’s appeal for the victims of the disaster in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. As funds are needed urgently I have already sent £500 to CAFOD on your behalf.
God bless
Father James
