Dear Friends,
Today is the feast of the Holy Family and the last Sunday of the year.
When I look back on the year that is coming to an end I have good memories of the wonderful celebration of my Golden Jubilee in July with family, friends and, of course, parishioners from all three of our communities. A memorable day indeed! This was followed by the trip in October to some of my favourite places in France – Chartres, Vezelay, St Benoit-sur-Loire and Auxerre. It was so good to share these special places with friends. This year also saw the transformation of the Sacred Heart Church with a new colour scheme, Stations of the Cross and lighting. We have a church that we can be proud of. Now we begin a new year full of hope that our three communities will grow and flourish as will our relationship with our twinned parish in Svay Sisaphon. We have much to be thankful for and we pray that this coming year will bring us many blessings.
God bless.
Father James
