A really successful Plant Sale, held at Sacred Heart Church on May 16th helped local independent charity Support Cambodia raise the major part of the £1300 needed for a Solar Energy Project in Pailin Province. To complete the project, 5 members of the Parish took part in a Sponsored Walk organised by the Rotary Club of Aylsham on June 14th. Both events were very well supported, both by the Parish and by many from outside the area. When completed, the solar power will enable the children and teachers of Phnom Priel Primary School, 25 miles from the nearest town and with no power at all, to use computers to enhance their learning.
