Rice Soup, East Anglian Style at Support Cambodia’s ‘Soups, Slides & Crafts’ event at North Walsham on Saturday 22nd March. The event was a tremendous success with over 60 people enjoying delicious homemade soups [mostly made by Carol], fruit & Khmer rice cake. Sales of Cambodian crafts reached a record total… and there was much interest in the slides of our recent visit to Cambodia. Thanks so much to all who made the effort to come, especially those who travelled from a distance [Diss, Yarmouth, Norwich, Dereham etc] and the significant number for whom this was their first time at a SC event. We were delighted to see you and really hope you’ll come again. A big ‘okoon naa’ [thanks very much] to all those who helped, especially members of the Steering Group plus Jan, Roma, David, Sarah and Fran.
