Pongro Village has long needed a water supply and now, thanks to a year-long effort by Sister Amor, the Charis team from Singapore have arrived to sink a bore well and construct toilets and bathrooms in two separate parts of the village. Joint agreements between the Headman, the villagers and Father Rajat were signed at a special meeting. It is hoped to complete the project in the next two weeks. Really good news for one of the poorest villages in the area.
